I'm just embarking on a little experiment in the kitchen. If it all goes to plan, in about 15 minutes time, I will be dining on tagliatelli with creme fraiche, smoked salmon, leek and mushroom.
If it doesn't go to plan, I'll be eating toast.

It was bloody lovely actually, although it didn't go too well with the Old Peculier. White wine would have been better, if someone hadn't bloody drunk it all :o(
And what is wrong with water.
See drinking again and you told me about drinking too much.

Yes, Cooldrums, m'dear, but I only have one or two drinks a week, not three or four a night :p

Where's the recipe for this masterpiece then, eh?!
The recipe is dead simple. Fry the leeks & shrooms in a bit of butter and garlic, add the creme fraiche. Then put the tagliatelli on to cook. When it's done, chuck the smoked salmon in with the leeks & shrooms, chuck the drained tagliatelli in on top, add black pepper and then bung it in a bowl and start shovelling. Works best wiv a glass of white wine :o)
Warning Eating this food can be dangerous for all around especially if your a Womble gas masks at the ready :-P
