Maybe we should fine the little twat his eyesight.
The problem pedestrians face is that drivers in general feel too safe in their tin boxes and drive irresponsibly, some more than others. (Have you ever tried driving at 30 in a 30 zone?)
Solution? Replace the driver's airbag with a spike (non-lethal probably)in the centre of the steering wheel and drivers behaviour would become instantly more responsible.
