Have you ever noticed that should you drop a piece of toast it always seems to land butter face down. That is should you have rememberd to butter the toast first of all and not the plate. I wonder if the same thinking applies to a buttered plate.What says you Womble????
I suspect that the buttered plate would land in several pieces, some butter side down and some butter side up.
